Fondation Noura welcomed Mr. Ismael, CEO of Cosmos Energy, to PK18 Prison for a visit aimed at discovering the foundation’s rehabilitation and reintegration programs. Accompanied by representatives of the Prison Administrationand Fondation Noura, Mr. Ismael toured several ongoing initiatives, including vocational training, education, and environmental projects designed to equip detainees with practical skills and hope for a better future.
Following the visit, representatives from the Prison Administration, Fondation Noura, and Cosmos Energy held constructive discussions to explore potential areas of collaboration. The exchange focused on how Cosmos Energy could support and strengthen these initiatives, contributing to greater opportunities for detainees and former detainees.
The visit highlighted the value of partnerships between public institutions, civil society, and the private sector in advancing rehabilitation, social inclusion, and sustainable development in Mauritania.
