Turning Waste into Opportunity
Eco-Pack is a social enterprise that transforms recycled paper into high-quality egg trays while creating life-changing opportunities for incarcerated people. Implemented through a partnership between Fondation Noura, DGAPR, and ITCANTEK, the project combines environmental sustainability, vocational training, and productive employment inside PK18 Prison.
Participants receive hands-on industrial training, earn an income, and develop professional skills that prepare them for successful reintegration after release. By converting waste into valuable products, Eco-Pack promotes a circular economy while reducing recidivism and supporting local economic development.
